You will make the most progress by following the guidelines which are set forth in this section.

Intro: We have designed the program to take advantage of a high-speed Internet connection. If you have a slow connection, be patient. We have tried to make all of the files as small as possible while offering you the best quality.

All material is presented with an introduction, training tip and learning guide. Once you have read and understood the material you should click the "Learn Now" link and view the online movie. Movies are presented in Windows Media as well as RealPlayer formats.

How To Use:

  • Begin slowly, starting each session with the preliminary warm-up and stretching exercises.

  • Learn only a few new skills in each training session and pay special attention to detail.

  • Learning should be progressive and new skills should build on techniques learned previously.

For example: The spinning side kick should only be attempted after the side kick can be performed with precision, balance, speed and power. If this step by step approach is not followed, you will develop many bad habits and will find difficulty progressing.

Especially in the beginning, pay special attention to learning each stance well. All of the basic punches are built on the straight punch. So practice this technique very slowly at first and increase speed and power only when you can execute the punch correctly.

*** You must always pay attention to details, learn slowly and practice diligently...that is the key to success.

  • In each training session spend some time reviewing skills that you learned in previous sessions.

  • Practice the horse form in every training session increasing the time that you hold each stance.

  • As you advance in your training, continue to practice basic skills to build and strengthen your foundation.

  • If possible, practice with a friend to work on self-defense and other skills.

  • For best results, practice at least twice a week for a minimum of 1 to 3 times a week.

  • Don't get discouraged if progress seem lacking, keep at it and you will make strides in your skills.

  • Develop a training schedule and stick with it. Make practice a habit.

Good luck with your training!
